Wordpress Upgrades - Protect Your Site

I don't know about you, but I researched to find out what others were doing to keep their blog secure, and when I first secured my WordPress site, I found information I was completely confused. And some of the information was actually on the top or superstitious. People told me rename this folder, to rename this file and set up these ten plugins. It seemed to be a bit of energy and work.

I was helped by it although my first step is not one you have to take. I had a good old style pity party. I cried and railed against the evil hackers (that where probably 13 and smarter then me) And I did what I should have done before I started my site. And here is where I want you to start. Learn hacked. The beautiful thing about how to fix hacked wordpress and why so many people recommend because it is really easy to learn it is. That is also a detriment to the health of our websites. We have to learn how to put in a safety fence.

I protect an access to important files on the blog's server by putting an index.html file in the particular directory, which hides the files out of public view.

You also need to place the"Anyone Can Register" in Settings/General to off, you could look here and you should have some type of spam plugin. Akismet is the old standby, the one I use, but there are lots of them nowadays.

It is really sexy to fan the flames of fear. That's what bloggers and journalists and politicians and public figures mostly do. It's great for readership and it brings money. Balderdash.

Of course it's possible to install more plugins to make your store like backup plugin or share buttons. That's all. Your shop is over at this website up and running!
